1. Overview

At deltorotrade.com, we supply bulk quantities of nuts and nut-based products for wholesale and export purposes. Due to the nature of international trade and large-volume shipments, all returns and refunds are handled under strict commercial terms.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.


2. Order Confirmation

All orders must be confirmed in writing via email or signed proforma invoice before processing.

Once production, packaging, or shipment preparation has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled without written agreement.


3. Returns Policy

Because our products are food-grade bulk commodities, returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

  • The goods delivered do not match the agreed specifications.

  • The goods are significantly damaged during transit.

  • There is a verified quality issue supported by documented evidence.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind

  • Market price fluctuations

  • Delays caused by customs clearance in the buyer’s country

  • Improper storage or handling after delivery

Any claim must be submitted within 5 business days of receiving the shipment.


4. Inspection & Claims Procedure

If you believe there is an issue with your shipment:

  1. Notify us immediately at info@deltorotrade.com

  2. Provide:

    • Clear photographs or video evidence

    • Batch number and shipment details

    • Description of the issue

  3. Retain the goods in their original condition until the claim is resolved

We may request third-party inspection or laboratory analysis where necessary.


5. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued only when:

  • The claim has been reviewed and approved

  • The issue is confirmed to be our responsibility

  • The terms of the sales agreement allow for compensation

Approved refunds may be processed in one of the following ways:

  • Partial refund

  • Replacement shipment

  • Credit toward future orders

Refunds are processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.


6. Shipping & Risk Transfer

Risk and responsibility for goods transfer according to the agreed Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF).

Once goods are handed over to the shipping carrier under the agreed terms, liability may transfer to the buyer depending on the contract.

Buyers are encouraged to obtain appropriate cargo insurance.


7. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for:

  • Delays caused by shipping lines

  • Customs inspections or regulatory delays

  • Currency exchange fluctuations

  • Improper storage after delivery


8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • War, strikes, or port closures

  • Supply chain disruptions
